    Swim at the Beach

The white beach in Boracay is divided into three stations. Station 1 is where most of the mid-range and luxury hotels are located. Most parties, boutiques, and restaurants are found in Station 2, while Station 3  is a quiet area since it is away from nightlife. Most budget hotels are located in Station 3. Swimming at the beach is one of the best things to do, especially in summer. Boracay is home to many beaches, and you can tour them by going on island hopping.

  2. Experience ATV Driving

    Experience ATV Driving

Do you want adventure and see scenic views? Then you might want to try ATV driving through the mountains in Boracay. The ATVs are found in the Happy Dreamland Theme Park, wherein the trip starts and ends there. What makes people come back here over and over again is its cheap price. It only costs Php 600 per ATV rental inclusive of two people already (one driver and one rider). There are also add-ons to this initial payment. Once you’ve paid the riding fee, you now have the freedom to enter the butterfly garden. You’ll surely enjoy the birds and butterflies that are featured here. There’s also an option for you to combine your ATV with the Superman-style zip line.

  3. Go on a Land Tour

Another way to explore Boracay besides island hopping is going on a land tour. You can hire a tricycle or an ATV for this. The land tour would allow you to explore the beaches, visit Mt. Luho Viewpoint, and appreciate the presence of fishing villages on more distant beaches. There is also a stop-over scheduled at Boracay Wildlife Expo, the area’s local zoo, where you can spend your time with unique animals. These include monkeys, arachnids, saltwater crocodiles, and tropical birds. Most land tours end on a high note at Puka Shell Beach – the perfect destination to relax by viewing the amazing sunset by the beach.

  4. Enjoy Water Sports Activities

There are many water sports activities in Boracay that you can enjoy. Here’s a short overview of what to expect in each activity:

Helmet Dive: If you’re not a good swimmer and are not comfortable doing scuba diving, the Helmet Dive is for you. It is one of the unique things to do in Boracay. All you have to do is to partner with registered organizations there, ride their speed boat, drive you to the diving location, and do a safety briefing. Just as the goes, you have to wear a helmet, pumped with oxygen, so you can enjoy the activity.

Parasailing: Looking for an activity that will keep your blood pumping? In parasailing, you can encounter such an adrenaline rush! It is a combination of both sailing and parachute where you get to fly with the help of a parachute while tugged by a speedboat. Once you’ve recovered from your fear of flying, make sure to take in the view and appreciate the amazing Boracay from a bird’s eye view.

Paraw Sailing: If there’s parasailing, there is also Paraw sailing. But unlike the adrenaline-rushing nature of the former’s, Paraw Sailing is definitely one to go for if you just want to relax and cruise the waters. All you have to do is ride the traditional local sailboat of Boracay which is primarily composed of both bamboo and wood. It has enough space for eight people and can be an avenue to bond with friends and family. Take note that aside from the unique experience you get to have here, you’ll also bring home picturesque photos that are definitely Instagram-worthy!

Remember, most of these activities allow you to see and enjoy the marine life up close!

But what if we tell you that Boracay yoga is slowly being included in the top things to do in Boracay? Conducting yoga in this serene place is recommended especially with the combination of its laid-back environment and fitting climate. Believe it or not, the island is also home to various internationally-acclaimed instructors that can help you with your journey to inner peace. Be mindful that there are also private sessions that you can do with the said instructors.

  6. Hike on Mount Luho

Hiking on Mount Luho is a great way to connect with nature. Mount Luho has a height of 100 above sea level, making it the highest point on Boracay Islands. On your way up, you can visit a wildlife park, wherein you can see the Philippine eagle, birds, snakes, monkeys, and wild cats. Another bonus is its viewing deck showcasing a 360-degree view of the island.

  7. Zipline

    Zipline in Boracay

Boost your adventure with Boracay’s Superman-style zipline. The zipline is 70-meters long, and while you’re there, you’ll get to see a picturesque view of the island. Keep in mind that this is not your ordinary zipline where you’ll cross your path while sitting upwards. Instead, you’ll be more challenged with your position as you’ll be lying down on your stomach, doing a Superman-pose with arms outstretched! If you’re looking for things to do in Boracay with your significant other, this should be your go-to as they have an option to do the zipline tandem style. This means that the two of you can do the activity together – perfect when one (or both) of you is afraid! Lastly, what’s good about this is that there’s no worry that you’ll slam into the wall. In the last ten seconds of your air travel, you’ll feel that your flight will slow down using the line’s weighted barrier. This is very different from the other different zip lines in the country!

  8. Cliff Diving

Similar to zipline, cliff diving is one of the most thrilling activities to do in Boracay. Magic Island, a bit farther from the beach proper, is a famous cliff-diving site that you might want to try. The height of the diving boards is 10 to 30 feet, and it only requires a small fee! What’s good about this is that the recommended jumping point is dependent on the tide. If a low tide is experienced, only the 15 feet and lower platforms are recommended but if there is a high tide, the visitors may use whatever platform they want. You also don’t have to worry about safety since there are lifeguards on the side who are ready to rescue you should something happen. At the same time, the crowd is also a different story. If you’re lacking the confidence to jump from the cliff, the crowd will definitely pump you up. This should definitely be included in your top things to do in Boracay!
