How to get to Caramoan Islands?

Travel to Caramoan Islands

If you want to escape the city and head off to the sun and the sand, you can easily head out to Caramoan Island. As part of Bicol, it is only 2 hours away from Manila, either by flight or boat. Here’s how to get there:

Bus

Manila to Sabang Port

From Manila, you can ride a bus going to Sabang Port. These buses can be commonly found in Cubao, Pasay and Alabang. Usually, these buses leave around 6 to 7 PM. Travel time takes up to 10 hours and the fare reaches PHP700 to 800 for air conditioned buses, while ordinary buses cost PHP500 for the fare.

Small Boat

From Sabang Port, you will take a passenger boat going to Guijalo Port. This takes you to Caramoan. The fare is about PHP120 and travel time takes up to 2 hours. You must write your name on the manifest before you board.

Airplane

Manila to Naga

Book a flight at Philippine Airlines or Cebu pacific Air that takes you from manila to Naga City in Camarines Sur.

Van

At Naga City, go to the Naga Van Terminal and ride a van going to Sabang Port. The fare costs PHP150 and travel time reaches 1.5 hours to 2 hours. These vans usually leave by 6 AM.
