How to get to Siargao Island?

Unlike the majority of other islands in the Philippines, Siargao doesn’t have a direct flight from Manila.

One thing to be considered is that the flights may be canceled due to weather conditions. So, you can expect your return tickets to be canceled, but it just might be a good thing!

You have to fly via Cebu. Started in 2009, Cebu Pacific Air’s daily direct flights to Siargao still continue to be the sole airline serving this route. The flights are generally small planes and you can take pleasure from the views of breathtaking islands from the window.

Another option that is available is flying to Surigao City, and then taking a ferry to Siargao Island. Either way, to travel to Siargao Island, you are surely going to enjoy your journey through the beauty of the region.
