The Hundred Islands is in Alaminos Pangasinan, also known as "Kapulo-puloan or Taytay-Bakes," which covers 1,884 hectares and consists of 123 islands at high tides 124 islands at low tide. One of the most beautiful tourist attractions in the Philippines, it is world-famous for good reasons: its islands are wonderfully spread out on the blue-green waters of Lingayen Gulf, rich in flora and fauna inland and underwater, fine beige sand, that yields every step, and also the friendly local islanders.

Visiting the national park is highly recommended during the dry season or in summer from November to May. If you are traveling by bus, it is best to leave Manila before midnight so that the arrival time is perfect for breakfast. However, Pangasinan Island also experiences typhoons and monsoon rains, so avoid visiting the Pangasinan Islands during the rainy season from June to October.

Going to Hundred Islands is pretty straightforward. Take a bus from Cubao or Pasay to Alaminos Pangasinan. Travel time might take 5 to 6 hours. Few major bus companies such as Victory Liner, 5-Star Bus Company, Dagupan Bus Co., Cisco Bus, and First North Luzon Transit offer travel daily at various Pangasinan stations Bolinao, Dagupan, Alaminos, Lingayen, and Urdaneta. Bus fare is around 470 pesos or more. As soon as you arrive at the Alaminos terminal, take a tricycle to Lucap Wharf (Fare is approx – PHP 50.00).
When traveling by private car, use Lucap or Alaminos Wharf National Park, which is the departure point of Waze. It is approximately 240 km (150 miles) north of the Kilometer Zero marker in Rizal Park, Manila, or about 4 hours away.
Upon arrival in Lucap Wharf, go to the tourism office to register and rent a boat for the island-hopping adventure. Boat rental depends on the size and whether your tour is a day tour or overnight.
